So like the title says this one is specifically for the guys... have any of you ever had a vasectomy? I'm wondering about pain levels and such afterwards because I am considering it. I've had all the kids I want and not interested in more.

Okay, I'm not a guy, but my son-in-law had one done two years ago. He can't take anything stronger than ibuprofen for pain. He had an uneventful recovery.

first 12 hours pretty bad pain.
next 12, pain
next 24 uncomfortable

by 48 hours, no biggie

Pain level afterwards almost none but I felt needle as anaesthetic was fading out through operation. I also had laser eye surgery in 2016 January by Excimer it was hell but very wise if you like sports
