No, but I spent few nights in full-oak forest ... also saw a rare grove of thick old oak trees.
When sleeping in such forest one can summon circle, easy to call spirits and fairies
I think what lives here in Slovakia is spirits of druids (I call them like that) wearing robes of dark green and brown
also fairies which are not like human, more triangular shapes of faces and sharp eyes like elves.

How fun! It's something I notice when camping, a few days connecting to the land around you and all manner of magic begins to happen.
By the way are you familiar with the work of Brian Froud? Many of his images are of the description you made.

I knew him not. Somewhat similar to faer yet what I saw was more triangular yet humanish face. His triangular faces are of other creatures. Perhaps one of his paintings was quite close (now I lost the image search).
I did not spot any of druid paintings of his...? you know for better accuracy I'd be forced to draw down, or paint my own visions. Like I told you I don't even know if spirits fancy to lose the perk of invisibility. Perhaps they do, since ''dead'' are usually free from suffering the pain of envy and jelousy from the living. Might as well be a way to bridge the worlds and make them known again. What do you think?
