I was fortunate enough...due to my time zone, latitude and weather to take in the eclipse and what a beautiful blood moon it was. For those of you able to take it in-what did you think? For those of you in a different time zone I send that wicked energy your way. I didn't get a picture because I'm not a photographer, and some things need to be experienced and felt. A sunrise/sunset never looks so good photographed in my opinion.
It was powerful and gorgeous and I always think about the old people and how they felt seeing it. A miracle.....an event. Wild and rare. Xo peace all!

I didn't get to see it unfortunately - but I have a few American friends on facebook that took photos and it was so beautiful! I would have loved to experience it though but nevermind. Interested to hear peoples experiences and thoughts

I drove out away from all the lights to watch. It sparked a memory of living on a world where a dark moon was the norm.

I didn't get to see it. It was cloudy here and they covered the entire night sky. I was so excited too. If anyone has some pics, please post!

Just watched the moon rise with my mum. Wow! In absolute awe.

What do You consider our ancestors would have thought a red moon to mean?
Could it be a period when the moon menstruated?
It occurs every 18.6 years , I believe.

In Chinese mythology, lunar eclipses were believed to be the result of a dragon trying to eat the moon. So you have to try to ward it off by firing noisemakers and banging on pots and pans.

It wasn't visible in my part of the world, but I still worked with the energies. I had a pretty mystical experience. Yes, the Blood moon was great!
