@firebirdflys many different kinds of mead, I found by accident when I was looking for an alcoholic beverage I liked the taste of apparently my ancestors liked it so for curiosity sake I tried and never looked back. Order off Google if you want to try, apparently it's the oldest known alcoholic drink and I could drink it all day.

@ yellow...I'm familiar with mead, ...(a favorite on the spring campout we even made a song about it. "Cherry Mead! She's so sweet! And I drink it until I gotta pee!"...lol and many other lines!) ...Just not the one you mentioned.
I like to shop in store and that really limits the selection. We used to get Honey Run brand they had bunches of flavors you could get at Whole Foods, then they stoped carrying it.

(EDIT; as of 2020, Honey Run brand Mead has gone out of business )

If what your proposing @rosie can be done on forum then Will take part. Is there any home tests you can do to check your DNA just for curiosity sake

I think the only ones that do dna are those 23 and me, or ancestor.com, but you just need a blood type test to determine if you have rh negative. Ask the pharmacies or your doctor.

This weekend is the Ozark UFO Conference in Eureka Springs, AR. It can be streamed live for only $25. That gets streaming for the entire weekend. I purchased my online ticket last night. Can’t wait to see what goes on. Next year I want to actually go to it as I live close to the location. But tickets to attend and lodging were not in my budget this year.

@firebird I’m also O+! But, I’m not sure I’ve heard enough convincing evidence to go with the RH negative factor means ET blood. But, I’m open to hear the argument further. Very open.

I did finally send in my DNA kit to ancestry.com. Not expecting to find anything other than what I know, but you never know..? 23&me dna kits also tell you how much Neanderthal you are. It’s in relation to other people not a percentage that you are though. My grandmother did it and it said she was had more Neanderthal DNA than 96% of all their customers. She’s actually my step grandmother so I can’t count on her DNA being mine, but I bet I have a lot of Neanderthal DNA too. Ancestry.com does not test for this DNA though.

I let you all know what I learn from watching the conference this weekend!

In this case it means putting a link in this post that would take someone to the documentary you suggested, but when you “imbed” it instead of showing just the link in blue it would show the video itself. And when you click on it it would play right there in the post.
