Dead butterfly

When I was walking home from school, I saw a dead butterfly (monarch) in the very centre of the sidewalk. I was wondering what this could mean. Does anyone have ideas?

I just looked up symbolism of monarch butterfly & according to on-stellar website the monarch butterfly symbolizes transformation and re-birth – "monarch butterflies symbolize rebirth and a new life. I was about to say something similar like SpiritTalker.

Butterfly being about spiritual transformation, metamorphosis it is called I think.

Being dead suggests you might have been neglecting your spiritual call somewhere.
Perhaps at school, looking too outwardly instead of inward, too focused on empty interests of people around? Don't you ever lose your soul bending to their principles.
On the way home might have been also about the upcoming event and not the recent one... it is up to you to look up the details of your life.

To me it associates with the past so I'd say school event.

I saw yesterday brown butterfly on the yellow flower by the lake.

Few months ago as struggling with life butterflies made their presence.
I think I tried to focus on the spiritual force to uplift me, the mental shift from being attached to results and also fostering the will to rely on power of that transcendental force.

They are Otherworld channel I think. Purple candles, I'm looking forward to use them. It's strange blue colour enhances visions but is not protective yet violet colour enhances visions and also gives power to transform.

Butterflies are just so innocent and harmless. It could only be a spiritual connotation, divine result. Not quite intellectually - pragmatically!

There's also "butterflies in stomach" reference for English native speakers, dead one could mean "let go of this romance"

If butterflies have a will, I say it is synchronicity itself. They're always right on time for me to "check in with" the meaning of (my) life.
