I have made my own prayer beads last year. Mine are black and white with a goddess bead on the end.

I love using prayer beads too and have made a couple of different lengths for different purposes, as well as a standard Rosary. I used my favorite stones of labradorite & quartz beads for a strand of 108, plus a Kwan Yin bead. I made another as my moon-time beads with night-sky-blue, cats eye beads in four sets of seven (for a month) divided by larger faceted sparkling beads (as moons) for bling.
