It's been awhile since I made something in regards to my Goddess...
Outside of a few wands a couple years ago, I've had my nose in a book.
The center "spokes" are done with crystal quartz pieces, Peridot, Sapphires,
and an unknown darker green.
Outside of the spokes are stones, the middle section's first inside layer is a
bunch of raw green Sapphires, inside the "paddles" are a few gemstones-
Garnets, and different colored Sapphires; the rest are semi-precious gemstones.
When I finally decided what to put on the wood, I was talking with the Lady I
deal with for buying jewelry. She told me she had some 1p pieces that would work.
I have just as many faceted stones waiting for another plaque, as there are on this one.
The outside ring is mainly Obsidian chips with a few tumbled stones.
So I guess you could say they are all stones...
I went to the hardware store and picked up another board, but their saw was down so
I've got to find someone to cut this piece into four, so I can start a new one
Keeps me from smoking so much !
I've got the beginnings of a head chain going, I'm just waiting for an order of owls to
come in for the center piece so I can start on it.
