Goddess and God in Genesis
So I am a “Christian” (which I put in quotes because it’s not the word I prefer in describing my religious views) but I think Wicca/New Age religion has it’s place. Something just dawned on me today. I wonder if in Genesis when God says “let there be light” and separates the light/day from the darkness/night, if the light corresponds to positive energy/the God and the darkness is the negative energy/Goddess. I wouldn’t be surprised if this has been argued before but I thought I’d share it and see your thoughts.

Hi,
I prefer to think along the lines of Projective and Reciprocative, the Sun is the seed and the Moon is the womb. There is a concert of give and take on both parts. Day destroys the night, night decides the day. (JM) is a perfect example of balance. We need both.
