Update on my Roomy Situation

I went this morning to the main office and spoke with the two managers of the apartments. I explained to them the things that have been going on.

Last night was the last straw for me. One of my roommates began yelling at me about using her cup, which I didn't use. The only thing I drink is bottle water, what would I need a cup for? She then proceeded to tell me I was not to use her pans either, which when I first moved in they told me I didn't need to bring any pans because they had plenty for me to use. I don't see why she'd care if I used them either, since I always wash them and put them away afterwards.

The other two roommates stood laughing at me, which only made my rage grow. Instead of attacking any of them I walked away. Now when I went to see the managers today to my surprise (not really) it seems that this is not the first time they've had a problem with these girls. The managers asked me to keep a log of all the things they have done and continue to do, they pretty much told me that they've had enough of these girls and are not going to let them renew their lease and are thinking of just kicking them out now.

The managers are going to come over sometime to talk to the girls to get their side of the story because it's mandatory, but from the way the managers were talking they absolutely can't stand the girls. Lol. One manager actually said "Ugh, and I can just see Paige with her little sneer across her face."

So hopefully things will start to get better. I'm going to start keeping track of every time they say or do anything to me and hopefully they won't be here much longer. So, yay! The badies will be gone soon.

We actually had a "meeting" earlier this evening. My roommates, myself, and the two managers all got together to discuss what has been going on. I think things will get better for me and two of the other girls, however the one that caused most of this is still being very defensive and catty.

There are situations with people sometimes, in places of employment, they behave just as those girls did...learning to deal with them safely, could help you later in life.

Glad the roomie situation seems to be getting better for you. You keep your stance and let them know you won't stand for their behavior. Bet they don't think it's quite as funny now they've gotten in trouble, albeit I'm sure they're pretty mad - but it's totally worth it.

Only one of them is actually still mad, the other two are quite fine with everything now. And the one who apologized to me has actually made an extra effort to say Hi and ask how I am and such.

The one I have discovered as being the "queen bee" is still trying to keep acting in her old ways but I'll break her before long. I can be the nicest person in the entire world, while at the same time exerting my dominance. I would like for her to realize I would rather have a friend, than an enemy.

I am SOOOO glad that this situation is easing a bit. Congratulations!

It sounds like this woke some people up to reality, and well.. queen bee figure out (eventually) what living in the world is actually like when you don't have servants... I mean, parents.
Besides, that is how things usually work.... the people who follow someone else's lead usually figure out that having a friendly allay is better than having an overseer. Unless they're in a cult...

I've been there, except I was on the other end of it, I was kinda a lunatic in the roommate dept. usually the problem is not comprehending communal living and what's entailed in looking out for others concerns as well.

Maybe you should leave a copy of the Communist Manifesto under her door?
