Let me first off say that this does not apply to everyone who is a teenager just some of you all who have OVERACTIVE imaginations! So I've been surfing around the board this morning and I have realized that I am getting very agrivated at how some of the teenagers out there are making us look! Like we are liars! Some people on this forum are having a little bit of a lying problem!!!! With some of this acquired powers and some other things. I just want you to know witchcraft is not acquired or given to you (I guess it could be in some ways like if you're blessed) but my point is, is that if you're coming on here with a line of crapt to try to be cool or make yourself look good it's not cool! Please stop because I am a teenager too and I don't like looking bad and having stereotypes!

I've been around reading over some posts
I replied on the ' natural witch ' thread with my thoughts on this, already. When I first joined it was one of my concerns. I think I read the same posts you referred to guys. Don't worry Flinch, we all understand that youth does not necessarily mean you are stupid or outrageous, though some are. That follows no matter what age people are or how experienced they may seem. It's natural to ask questions and some may seem a bit silly or offbeat, but you don't learn if you don't ask - if I think someone is being outrageous, I will tell them. I am happy to talk and share my understanding, remember you will gain different perspectives from different people. We all bring something to the mix and we all continue to learn from each other - no matter how much we already know and that is not dependant on age. I think you and some others show an enquiring mind, this is a good thing and to be encouraged, also the good sense and common sense, which enables you to sniff out the bullshit.
I know there is a lot of BS out there but I dunno maybe I just put up with too much some times. I know there can be some dumb questions out there (like one of mine about forging the four elements w/ or w/ out four people) But I just feel like sometimes that people can be so hard on teenagers and yes teenagers can be very stupid at the same time.
Again thank you Sercee (in the other post) you did make me feel a whole lot better.

i think that even if you have a totally lame and idiotic question, it has the right to be answered without insult, so long as it is a genuinely serious question. but i can see why people would get irritated about answering the same questins over again. and i feel that teenagers are alot of the time judged to be like all teenagers i dont like to judge the many by the few.
but alot of older people aswell ask some of the stupidest questions imaginable.
the way i see it dear flinch is if you have a question ask it, if you get abused for it, tell people to go f*ck themselves. and wait for someone to actually answer you or if you know anyone decent enough pm them and ask them and hopefully they will either know or be able to point you too a place with suitable information.

LOL thanks and it wasn't just question stuff I read something on here the other day about some one acquiring more powers when they turned 13 it dunno it just seems a little over the edge.... I don't feel that I have acquired anything that I didn't already have. I've just learned how to use what I have....

I have to agree with the original poster. Reading over some of the posts here I have to admit that I sometimes want to cringe. It seems that there are many people who thing that being Pagan means that you give up your ability to think critically or to be a skeptic. Not so. If anything being a Pagan should enhance these abilities.
That said, I was a very imaginative child and teen. I have my parents quite the time of it. Sometimes if you really, desperately want something to be real, you can convince yourself it is. Thankfully, reality reasserts itself eventually and strong denial is usually (and thankfully) just a phase.
Hearthwitch.

LOL
I think I'll try that, Sobek. Cheaper than a movie!
You are definately right, flinch. There's an awful lot of crap being spouted by some people. It would be nice if people didn't make things up so their posts would actually be constructive.
And there was me thinking 'I'm a new member, better be polite and not mention that I am actually laughing my ass off while reading some of these posts!'.
A big well done to the teens who have stood up and said 'Enough is enough'. A sign of maturity I feel.
