Spell to attract past love

This is one of my own spells, hope you like it as well...

You need:
a small pouch to be worn as a necklace/ carried in pocket (optional)
lavender
one, shiny, copper penny/ or a copper ring
a red and a pink, or two red, or two pink taper candles
an altar with at least one black or white candle.

This spell should be planned two days before the actual performing of the spell. The spell should be perfomed under the moonlight on a Friday evening during the waning moon.

First consecrate the penny, you may place the two love candles in the center if you like, when you get to consecrating it by the element of the south, carefully (preferably with needle nose pliars) pass the nearly cleansed copper piece over the flame three times while chanting:

"I now cleanse this copper
from all its negativity
I invoke the power of three
So mote it be!"

Chant this with each pass of the flame. Let the copper cool, while it is cooling if you are using a penny and pouch, fill the pouch with a small bit of lavendar, enough to fill it when the penny is placed in there. After the copper has cooled place it in the pouch with the lavendar then seal the pouch or place the ring in the middle of your altar. Position the two red/pink candes in the center of your altar if not done previously, and then center the pouch between the two candles. if an incense is a part of your altar, now is the time to light it/them preferably dragon's blood or lavendar, then light the black/white candle, imagine that all negativiteis between the two lovers are melting away(black) or that your love will be protected from harm (white), meditate on the candle for two to three minutes, imagining this effect. After meditating, light the two red/pink candles and chant, three times:

"With these candles of two
allow our love to come through
*lover's name* and I are meant to be
allow it to be just her/him and me
give this charm the power of my love
from the heavens above
I invoke the power of Venus
because our love is a must
bring us together great entity
So Mote it Be!"

Now snuf the two candles, then the black, DO NOT BLOW THEM OUT! blowing then out will alter the desired effects! Remove the pouch from between the candles and carry it with you, as a necklace, or in your pocket. If the pouch is on your person when your past lover is near he/she will be drawn to you.

interesting, i am not sure if it will work, becuase the penny doesnt sigify anything really, but i am sure if you used opal, or something ti would work better. is there and significancy to the penny?

i see lots of significance with the penny. its strong (just like most metals) and it visibly cleanable. and not everything in spell casting has to symbolise something else.

but on another not, why would you want past love? why not new love?

well, the planet of love, venus, the planets metal is copper, so the penny symbolizes venus, which symbolizes lo9ve.why past love, because,I lnow a feew pwople that want someone back in their life, like me. and ryan, justin, the keveins. some people lost a relationship with someone, and they want their lover back.

i understood that but dwelling on the past isnt healthy. and it should be encouraged that they deal, and move on.
and i hadn't a clue copper was the metal of venus, interesting fact!

i know it isnt but when there is someone you wanted to spend your life wth and you lose the flame, you would want that to be fixed, especially if they break up with you.

I can understand why some people would want to have a past love back, but for personally i wouldn't really want that...

Usually when someone breaks up with you, or if the relationship just falls apart, there is a reason for that. And a spell doesn't change te reason it went wrong in the first place...

But maybe it could be used for a sucessful love of a past life, if you edit the words a bit.

well anyway, its justa love spell, let's just make it love in general. unless you would happen to have a picture of the person you want to be with.
