Hello Shekinah! HK is one of my favorite cities! Fantastic food, great hiking, friendly people. The weather is hot but we've had low humidity for the past couple of days, so it's paradise. I'm currently working at a hostel in Kowloon.

In terms of witchcraft, not sure about the general population. There is one new age shop downtown I'd like to check out. There are loads of traditional Chinese medicine shops, you can get your fortune told at many temples, & there are many stores selling jade & other crystals -- these practices have influenced Western esotericism but no one here refers to them as witchcraft, obviously. Still, I love it! I have been reading tarot for some of the backpackers passing through my hostel, which has been fun. More of a parlor trick, but backpackers tend to be a superstitious bunch, so many do take it quite seriously & want to learn about the cards.
