Need Help for Travel!

I am going on a very arduous journey Friday and I'm wondering if there was something that could help protect me? Thanks so much!

Ground and center yourself before you leave home. Picture a wall of protection going up around yourself. It can be general protection or something specific. You know your own travel plans. Go with what you think best. You can always go with both general and something specific.

Well.

It is said when traveling to bring a piece of Anthracite coal along. This though I forget where the lore originated was carried in the past on those whom travel often as a protective means, as well as by thieves to avoid detection.

This however may not exactly be practical regarding the coal- not everyone keeps coal on hand, but the means is the same.

If you have a certain charm for luck or protection that you love and have already, there should not be a need for anything else.

Truly however, all you really need to protect yourself for travel is Faith.

Like GhostRider has said you could try a visualization technique. For protection of self and others my personal favorite is to envision a bright white light around myself and those I love. I do this periodically when I feel it necessary.

Then have faith that whatever you visualized- the more personal to you the better, has done what it needed to.

Have faith you are protected.

There are also other things others have used in the past from spells to rituals to certain stones, to herbs, to Catholic Saints- Think Saint Julian Patron saint of Ferrymen, Travelers, Motel Keepers etc.

Whatever feels comfortable for you should suffice. Some turn to Arch Angel Michael for support/ protection and recite a prayer to him, others use other means that resonate with them.

Whatever means you use, have faith that it will get the job done.

You might like to go to the "complete magical correspondences" topic in WC & Wicca 101 section and look up protective herbs & stones then make yourself a safe travel pouch charm from any odds & ends that you have on hand to work with. Anything you may use will have to be "instructed" so you activate it by holding the intention in mind as you pass energy into the charm. You've said you're very new to all this so i dont imagine you have a witchy supply cabinet, but a stone like hematite can deflect negative energies & amber is known as the witch's stone for it's healing, balancing & protective properties. Use an iron nail bent into a ring as a protective charm. Iron protects. Make a word sigil for "safe travel" then include it as a drawing or stitch it on the pouch. I've just today added a post "simple spells" in the spell section that has instructions. You can charge any piece of jewelry to serve as an amulet. You didn't say how you are traveling. If there's a personal vehicle involved it can be blessed for safe travel with salt-water & an air-drawn hexagram or a pentagram or an equal arm cross visualized as glowing blue light. All 3 are Magical protective symbols of the elements. And you can program your shielding meditation exercise for safe travel. Someone else may think of a dozen other suggestions. There's never just one way to do something.

By the way don't overlook obvious protections like mosquito repellant or pepper spray, depending on which type of jungle you may be traveling thru.

Thanks do much, I am doing as y'all have advised. I am agoraphobic and am going to a doctor in Omaha (long ways from my home) by vehicle. It is hard to leave my house. I am trying to be strong. I am so sorry I posted this twice and in the wrong section. I am on a cell phone that is hinky. No, I do not know, nor do I own any magic supplies; but I bet I can find an iron nail to bend into a ring and I have salt water. I have sapphire, and some other gems too, oh and pepper spray. I also have prayer, meditation skills and friends on the other side I'm going to implore for protection, right or wrong! Thanks so much once again. I am actually feeling stronger already, which five minutes ago I was crying my eyes out and having a panic attack, so that is saying something!

It sounds as if you do indeed have exactly what you need already, and are ready to utilize it.

Where you said you have friends on the other side you plan to implore, I too feel that is a great idea.

Passed loved ones, ancestors, and spirit guides are a great source of hope, protection, and strength.

You also seem to have many of the items spirit talker suggested as well, which is great.

And as stated meditation or a visualization technique before you leave is a basic. A very natural approach to protection that is not an expensive means.

A great example of how you do not need a witchy cabinet stocked full with the most exotic variety of different herbs out there to practice witchcraft or cast a spell, blessing, or a protective means.
