Everything Under the Moon

Within the last month I have started to wear a ring, its purpose is that it gathers my excess magic energy when not needed for use at other times however it doesn't drain my physical or magical energy to the point where I'm weak. My issue is that a few nights I have worn it whilst asleep, and it has given me nightmares. One particularly nasty one of me killing my partner who I love so dearly. My question is why it would give me nightmares? I understand that the energy contained within the ring can be fueling my dreams making them more vivid, easy to remember and more powerful. But I don't understand why it is nightmares rather than premonitions like I have had before or even just more whimsical dreaming visiting the ethereal plane. What are your thoughts? Should I continue to wear the right and see if I get past the nightmares? Is another being to blame in my home?is it subconscious fears manifested? Any ideas and thoughts are appreciated

Try not wearing it at night & observe any changes. Then you can discern if the energy accumulation is overloading your system. I'm thinking that our emotions & physical bodies would react defensively to energy-body over stimulation and that might unconsciously trigger disturbing dreams. The mind signals that it's off center with scenarios that force us to pay attention & not blow it off.

Over years of observing my own energy peaks & valleys, I get better balance when I ground all excess energy. Orgone energy is constantly naturally renewing. Each energy flux of focussed magical intention is painted by the brush of the emotions that generated it. An occasional chakra cleanse clears the pipes.

To cleanse: Use breathing & imaging & think of water's cleansing abilities. Pass your power-hand's open palm upward from crotch to crown to draw up flowing energy from below the feet, rising slowly upward through each chakra one at a time so each is refreshed, and let the upward flow out the crown like a flowing fountain. Give it just a minute or so then pass your open palm from crown to crotch to close down. Ground yourself. Drink a glass of sunlight charged water to reinforce & convey the message physically to the body. Don't ignore simple aids just 'cuz they're easy. and if visualizing is a distraction you can skip it & just stand in sunshine and deep breathe between sips of the water. ... Never just one way ... Mutter mutter.

I have taken the right off at night since the last nightmare and since then I've not had any nightmares. I didn't think about my body seeing it as foreign. Il try the chakras thing next time I do yoga

Not so much viewed as foreign, but as a mishmash of conflicting emotional currents attached to the energies. That's rich fodder for nightmares I'd think.

Sure. You know how to discern what's being carried by the energy body. It behaves differently than the physical body & It runs on different fuel. Yet it impacts the whole system of physical, energetic, emotional, mental & spiritual. Yoga is a great way to observe these systems at work.
