Everything Under the Moon

So i've started my year and a day in May, and thought the next full moon in July would be the perfect time to do my first spell. I've spent a lot of time researching in the months in between and I know what I would like to do for the spell & made sure my intentions were pure. The spell in mind is one for hair growth.

I want to be prepared but I'm not sure what it is I need material wise and how to go about doing my spell when the time comes. I know a lot of people do things differently but I need some kind of guidance to help me start. I also don't have crazy funds to just spend It would be cool to get some help

It's for hair growth, sorry

For any spell you want your concentration to be tightly focused. The tighter the focus the more boost you'll give the spell. Intent is also key. There's a reason you sometimes hear "intent is all". Some times when your just starting out you can forget the basics that give you a better result for this and, if your in the habit, your spells years from now.

There's a correspondences list in the Witchcraft and Wicca 101 section that you can consult. Also a topic devoted to designing spell work, so you might take a look and see if it's useful to you. Break the intent down to a more general purpose of increase and growth, which is what fertility means. The same things that can increase and grow crops can grow a crop of hair. Using predominantly green Is associated with crop growth, and growth properties in certain herbs, & stones.

Know your goal.
Know the method you will use to hold the spell...jar spell, charm bag, cord...
Match your goal intention to the most useful element & it's properties, find any bits and bobs that strengthen your connection to the goal.
Pick an appropriate day and time.
Collect your stuff, go to your work area.
Center yourself. Raise energy. Cast circle if desired. Charge materials with your intention individually and as a unit, so they work together. This is doing your spell.
Meditate a few minutes afterwards. Dismantle the circle if you did one.
