Crystals for Herne

I'm making my wand and I would like to stud it with some gems, but I don't know which crystals best relate to the horned god Herne. Any ideas? I currently have a green smooth cracked quartz for the base, ruby coming in the post to stud it, and one more slot for Herne.

How about a piece of polished antler?

I like that idea but how do I mount that to a wand? I don't have any power tools it's all by hand with files.

Same way you mount a stone! I like to make a little hollow for it and use a dab of hot glue.

Isn't hot glue sorta "anti-natural" and will work against the flow of magic as it is a type of plastic? I cant mount it on the bottom as thats where my round cracked quartz is going. I was going to put a pillar clear quartz at the top so it helps focus it rather than taint it. If I mount a antler on the tip it will taint whatever magic I do with herne and nature. I love bone and skulls so would love to incorporate it, but not sure how without it just sticking out at a weird angle like lightning.

You could try pine pitch if you want to go all natural, but it doesn't hold well for long and in my experience nither does hot glue.
The only thing I have found other than epoxy is goop....
"Plumbers Goop" is good but I heard there is "craft goop" too. It's probably the same stuff with a less potty sounding name since it's by the same company. That stuff will stick to anything, but it is not natural.
You may have trouble getting that point to go strait unless the two ends match really well. Glue (goop) and wire might work.

Ebony all purpose wand. I'm thinking I'll make another wand another day more specifically for herne and just stick with the design I have at the moment. I'll be using copper wire to attach the crystals and I have raw linseed oil to prep the wood. I plan to gets some pillar quartz today so I'll ask the shop owner if they know anything about natural glues. Thanks for your help!
