Everything Under the Moon

Hello, Everyone

I am MamaMagpie and I joined this site with mah husband, Wolf, who is a devout Norse follower/ Odinist. I'm honestly not sure what I am... I have always been spiritual and very interested in crystals, nature, symbolism, spells, potions, astrology and astronomy (plus I have an irrational fear of the 'grays'... Not sure why!)

For about a year now I've taken this a lot more seriously and I am EXTREMELY HAPPY!!! I just feel so... whole, if that makes sense? Like the Universe now makes more sense than ever, yet remains a beautiful mystery. My husband and I are constantly drawing similarities between experiences, stories and things we've learnt (we're from different continents).

I am mainly drawn to the Ancient Egyptian pantheon, I can't explain why. When I'm studying or learning, it immediately makes sense and I become very passionate about it. I have also learnt to read the Tarot (Crowley's deck) and I've now started to learn the deeper meanings and see connections between the cards. It's glorious - like having the Universe right at my fingertips.

I hope to get to know lots of people on here, I'm actually REALLY shy and feel totally amateur compared to everyone on here... so if I say or advise something wrong, please let me know!!

Welcome, don't worry about being a newbie or "wrong" at all. People are so nice and kind here, no one will criticize you for having a different opinion or perspective. There's such a wide variety on this forum and no dogmas are presented as "the single truth". The only rule is to stay on the positive side and not to mess with black magic.

I used to put certain ones on my altar standing upright ,
for meditation , and concentration purposes...
