Hi,
Ive noticed this is the 2nd New Moon to occur this month. Is this referred to the Dark Moon or the Sidhe moon, are they the same thing, and if not what is its' proper name?
Also, does anyone have any good links or information on rituals for tomorrows moon?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Everything I can find, says they're the same thing. I think sidhe moon is less well known in astronomy and meteorology circles due to the pagan aspects of the moniker.

I've been seeing it called the black moon. A dark moon usually refers to the period of the moon phase where it can't be seen. (So right before, during, and right after the astronomical new moon, when it is zero percent illuminated.) In Greek tradition the dark moon is the end of the month (with the new visible crescent being the first day of the month), it's a time to end any business from the past month, physically and spiritually cleanse the home and home altars, and make offerings to Hekate so she might bless the home in the coming month, all to prepare for the new month. A lot of traditions seem to follow the idea of letting go of the old, or focusing on new beginnings during this time of the lunar cycle.
