Need help, I'm a newbie

So I'm not too new to this forum...most will see my posts about my kids and their special gifts or my experiences with the spirit world & other paranormal happenings. I would not call myself a Wiccan or even a witch...yet.
I first joined here because my little girl has a interest in witchcraft and worshipping nature and many gods & goddesses. Mind you, she is eight. I admire her for knowing exactly what she wants to believe. Now that I've dived off into this world of witchery, I'm becoming more comfortable with the fact that I too, believe I have witchy abilities. When I was a small child I was always casting spells, making potions and I felt deep down that I was once a witch, in another time, on another land. I felt out of place in body because of this. My room was decorated with angels, mythical creatures, dragons, flowers and herbs I would hang upside down to dry and candles. I believe I'm a witch at heart.
So now I enjoy reading posts on here not only for my daughter but for me. I enjoy the posts about history and nature and posts about easy, small rituals I can use in nature or with the moon.
However, there is something strange going on, and I hope someone can help enlighten me, because I'm unsure what to think.
My husband and I recently binge watched The Vikings. On there the main character has a connection with Odin. They have a few beautiful shots of Odin with his two ravens and hat...the visuals when he has a vision of Odin give me the chills,in a good way.
Now before this, I didn't know anything about Odin or much about Norse mythology or what have you. But I do have a strong connection with birds of all kinds. My husband calls me a bird whisperer.
My experiences from here on are confusing to me because I'm not sure if it's happening since I watched this amazing show. So please help or drop some knowledge on me!
I have seen the name or word "Odin" everywhere lately. I mean, in books, in movies, on commercials. Out and about I will see the word "Odin".
I've had dreams about him. Just he and I talking or I just quietly being in his presence...along with his two ravens and wolves.
The latest experience... I'm in bed, and I fall asleep finally to have a quick dream about Odin, again. He was talking to me. I don't remember what he said, which is very discouraging but I feel like it was in a different language. However, I understood it in my dream, but not when I woke up. I quickly woke up and when I opened my eyes, there he was....he had only one eye. His hat covered the missing eye, but his other eye was so blue...it glowed in the darkness of my room. I could see his cape as he turned away and disappeared. I really felt like I could touch him.
Now if any of you guys have read other posts of mine, you will see I have Hypnagogia. This does cause me to have vivid, hallucinations. So I am willing to brush that experience off to Hypnagogia, BUT...even if it was an hallucination...could it still be an important vision /hallucination?? I mean, I've read that people like Beethoven, Aristotle and Edgar Allen Poe, & Thomas Edison actually encouraged Hypnagogia because it helped their creativity.
I guess what I'm saying is that in feeling like I actually saw the presence of Odin, I do have the ability to see spirits and they come in any way they want to. If I was hallucinating, could he have come to me that way?
I'm really lost here. Why would I be seeing this Odin everywhere, like I have?? I'm not sure what to do or what to think.
I've seen posts of deities and whatnot, but to be honest, I'm so new to this kind of experience ...I'm clueless as to these signs and their meaning.
I will be grateful to any advice or history lessons or any input!! Thanks so much for reading my forever long post!
