Not sure if I'm in the right place, but tonight I cast a very simple and crazy effective spell.

I used a white taper candle in a jar full of living earth (compost) and when I lit the candle, I asked the Goddess to help me find the item I was looking for.

Earth, because it was an earthy request, and white for wisdom.

Found it instantly. I'm still trying to express my gratitude!

Fascinating! I wonder if it would work for finding a lost check? And since I'm a condo dweller with no access to a garden, where does one find compost?

I have found that "find it" spells seem to be the most effective. I have a "find it" spell that I use all the time and it totally works! The lost item might not show up immediately, but usually within 48 hours, sometimes less, it will be found.

That's great! I don't think I've ever done a finding spell before.

I have a special song that I sing when I lose my arrows in the woods. It opens up my intuitions and leads me right to them.
