Everything Under the Moon

Hey there. Newbie here looking for guidance! Any words of wisdom appreciated. I've recently become more drawn towards pagan/witchy stuff although I've always had an interest, and have been into related activities like meditation, crafts, alternative medicine, crystals, nature. Anyway I am still finding my path with this. I am really interested in some of the more traditional witchcraft such as green/hedge and kitchen, I also like elements of Wicca such as celebrating the sabbaths but I don't think joining a religion is for me so I quite like the idea of an informal/eclectic approach. Not that I'm being dismissive or disrespectful towards that way of doing things as I know it must work amazingly for some people but I've always been quite a hodge-podge kind of person if that makes sense. Not sure if this all sounds really confused or naive to any seasoned witches out there but these are just my thoughts at this time.

Anyway, I am going to stonehenge on Saturday to celebrate the solstice/Litha, and want to do a simple fertility spell or rite somewhere nearby the sacred place as I have problems in that area. I know Litha isn't strictly a fertility festival but as it is linked to the sun god/Green Man then maybe a spell or dedication to that deity would be good. I've already done one asking the moon goddess for help. Given the info in the first paragraph about my possible inclinations can anyone give me any suggestions? As I said before I would be great to have a fairly simple one as I will be in a field away from home!

Also any book suggestions would be really appreciated, I already have a few ones which lean more towards Wicca but I'm keen for info/help finding out about other traditions.

Forgot to mention, I've already made a little altar with various things including a lavender wand which i made from lavender from my garden, and a fiery red and orange dreamcatcher-type thing, as a little tribute to the sun god but im a bit stuck now, would like to take it further and perform something while I'm there

We have a thread where we create rituals and you can pick some things for your ritual or enter the discussion. At the moment, we are working on a Litha ritual for protection, but there is a pretty good fruitfulness spell we did before that.
