Different Types of Magick OK?

I know there are tons of different types of magick and beliefs out there. Some general and some specialized.

I'm interested in a variety of things, my initial interest in the craft blooming from summoning. Something I'm currently working on strengthening.
Anyways. Before I found summoning and all these others topics and branches I had been gifted a tarot card deck by my dear mother. I never practice much so I'm mediocre.
Yet I'm also interested in runes, types of spellcraft; like plant based or so furth, spirit animals, gems, fairies and tons of other subjects.

My point and question. When is too much too much? Is there some creed that says you can't do this subject if you do this one over here?

Thank you for your time.

I think many folks have a natural calling or ability to have expertise in certain areas and not so much in others. I would suggest doing as much reading as you can on various subjects, see which ones "feel" right and explore those further.
Over time you may become a Jack of all Magicks though you are still likely to excel in some particular specialties.

What firebird said.
Read as much as you can, eventually you will find what you are attracted to the most. You may also pick a thing or two from everything you are interested in and become eclectic. Or you may find you are attracted to what you never expected. Some day it will come to you. Until then, read, research, practice.

Exactly.
I worked with many types, but eventually I needed to find one to focus on and put it before the others.
I tried taking on all,but was not able to stay to do it.My spirit suffered because of it.
I had to see which one to put first.
When I was truly able to focus on one area, and go through the self initiation,I found that many of the other
things that I was trying to learn sort of fell into place.
Like seeing how I was just a small part of the big picture, like the ceremonial magic that I was learning helped with Wicca,as well as the time that I spent writing, and setting up a schedule that I would keep helped me build discipline.
The Tarot, the planets,Kabala, really all that I did the first time around opened lots of spiritual doors, and made many things in my personal work so much easier.
