As I'm still new to Wicca I have found that I'm struggling to find a set routine. I want to have a routine prayer, routine spell time, routine reading etc... Do any of you have schedules? Like, how can I find a Wiccan routine that works well? I'm also a college student and have so little time. I feel like I'm not doing ENOUGH to be a passionate and committed Wiccan. Does anyone else relate? have any helpful advice? Thanks guys...

Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
I know it can be frustrating beyond belief, especially if you cannot be open about your practices and/or are very busy. A good starter book to read would be "Wicca:Year and a Day" by Timothy Rodrick. You can probably find it in PDF form if needed. Do little things, add them into your usual routine day to day like before you eat breakfast and leave for classes or just before bed, meditate as much as you can, its good to add into a workout routine like yoga.
Personally I don't have a "set" schedule, then again I really don't need one. My belief are a part of who I am in everything I do daily from my artwork to my cooking to my workouts and bathing. Do what works for you in your situation until you are able to do more schedule willing/living situation. Even the little things are important.

Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
It took me many years to get into the 'routine' that I'm currently in, and it all came together bit by bit, so don't feel pressured to start doing all these things at once. It might be best to pick one thing to start with, really incorporate it well, then pick another if you feel you need to. Don't just limit yourself to a daily schedule, either. I do a small daily ritual each day while cooking dinner, but I also hold three monthly festivals that allow me to do something a bit bigger that would not be practical on a day to day schedule (then the yearly holidays that can be even bigger). If you're in classes most days, maybe look at doing something a bit more on weekends, or just whatever fits into your schedule. If you only have ten minutes for something in the morning, then work with that and find something that will fit in. There might be other things that you don't actually need to do on a set schedule - for me that is spellwork and divination, I just do those as needed, but it's different for everyone... just don't overwhelm yourself.I want to have a routine prayer, routine spell time, routine reading etc... Another book you might find helpful is called "To Walk a Pagan Path: Practical Spirituality for Every Day" by Alaric Albertsson. Not everything in the book will likely be something you can do (you're probably not about to take up beekeeping), but there's a lot of useful advice in it, and a lot of different examples of how to incorporate 'mundane' activities into your spiritual practice.
Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
Lisian, don't worry about being "Wiccan Enough". It's true that having a routine can be helpful in your spiritual growth, but the vast majority of us have had times where we've had to prioritize other things in our lives, and let our spirituality fall to the backburner. As a recent college student myself, I completely sympathize with your plight here -- I couldn't start practicing more until I graduated, because life on the semester system is just too hectic and unpredictable. For starters, you can consider substituting some of the stuff you normally do with magical work (e.g. kitchen witchcraft, as we were discussing on the other thread. But really, don't worry about feeling not Wiccan Enough. Like everyone said here, you do what you can to fit in your spirituality on your schedule ... you've got your whole life to practice Wicca!

Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
It took me awhile just to get started on a daily thingy. Then we had to move again...
Now, in a smaller place I'm cramped and my laundry is under my desk/alter, damn it !
I do tho, say nightly prayers before sleeping. One to Isis and the other to Mother Earth,
I just recently added Mother Earth, and I feel more connected to Mother Earth than Isis
right now. I tried using playdoh to make a statue of Mother Earth like this one attached.
I got some playdoh from dollar store, I forgot how much it dries up; no resemblance to
pic AND it's drying so much there's cracks.
Another thing, I got this book to help me with daily things I can do:

I hope you find the spark you are looking for !

If you want to give it another try Crayola makes some air dry clay that you might have better luck with. It costs a bit more, I think it was five dollars, but it's a good size tub. They even have a terracotta color very similar to that statue.I got some playdoh from dollar store, I forgot how much it dries up; no resemblance to

So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will.
Do that, and no other shall say nay.
For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.

Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
Hello to everyone who replied, I've been reading through these and I feel encouraged. thank you for your advice and stories. At first I will admit I felt useless and "not wiccan enough" but I can see that I am not alone in feeling that way. I will continue on researching and learning. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Feeling like I'm not "enough"
I have had times (ok an entire year or more sometimes) where I have not done anything spiritually. Because life doesn't always fit into a nice tidy schedule and things always come up. I find being flexible (for me it works) and not beating myself up over when the last time I did (insert whatever from rituals, meditations, magick work, etc). One of the things that helps keep me connected though is putting my all into everything I do whether it is cooking, artwork, or even house cleaning! Every day things can be done in honor... if the divine is in all of us and through us.. then everything we do is spiritual to some extent. You will have times in your life where you will be so in tune with the divine that it will feel like a dance, but other times it will feel like you are stuck in a very long winter... don't give up, don't despair. As with everything there will be highs and lows. But when you step back and look at the big picture you can often see the beautiful balance they create.

I started feeling as if I was drifting away a bit from my spirituality, so I restarted A Year and a Day. Annoying shopping list aside, it is ten minutes out of my day to help me focus my energies and is sooooo worth it.
I say a quick prayer as I make my morning coffee to help me connect to the Gods and that seems to help. Little things go a long way. Life never happens on schedule, so don't stress about a routine
