The way I convinced myself it was all nonsense was by reading
Acharya S.' books. She's a genius. Here's a video based on her book "Suns of God" that proved that Jesus was just another Sun God (personified). (The video was made by a fan of hers.)

It's going to be necessary to undo all the years of intentional brainwashing that the church has put you through. They've used all the common hypnosis techniques like fear, guilt, repetition... Even certain music beats in most hymns have a hypnotic rhythm to them.
If you've ever watched Binny Hinn's audience, you'll see what mass hypnosis looks like. It's so insane. They call it "being in the Spirit", but it turns out that you can acheive the same effect through many other means, so apparently it has nothing to go with God and everything to do with the way the human brain responds to certain kinds of stimuli.
There's definitely enough information out there to convince anyone that Christianity is just another cult. Whether people choose to read/watch that information is the bigger question. When you've been taught that "the only unpardonable sin is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit", but you don't really know exactly what that means (I'm not sure anyone does), it makes you afraid to do ANYTHING that could be construed as "blaspheming the Holy Spirit", which could include looking at anti-Christian information.
If Chrisitanity really had the truth, they wouldn't need to use so much fear and guilt and all those bloody horror shows (the Easter plays) to force people into feeling horrible enough that they convert. The message itself should be enough, and obviously it's not, which makes sense since the message isn't that profound. It's the same message that all mystics and holy men have repeated forever, long before Jesus, and certainly long after him: "Love one another."
The truth is, Jesus probably never existed in real life. He was a creation of the Church, which wanted to bring all the pagans and Jews together under one religion to stop all the fighting between them. So they invented a Christ who had the characteristics of a pagan Sun deity, as well as the characteristics of the Messiah that the Jews had been waiting for, and named that "god" Jesus. It did help the violence some, even though fighting continued, but eventually enough people accepted Christianity that there was at least
less violence and killing in the name of God. Until the extremist Muslims came along anyway. And now we're back at it again.
