Simple wax spell

Postby Ravencry » Mon Dec 27, 2010 4:38 pm

The next candle that you have, try this simple spell. I used it and it worked quite well:

Drip the wax on a fireproof, scrape-able surface (I used the top of one of my herb jars)
Make the wax form a small circle, about 1/2in to 1in diameter.
You can save these in corresponding colors to the spell you wish to cast.

To use:
Inscribe on the corresponding colour wax a symbol of what you wish to gain (A dollar sign for money, a heart for love, a house for a new house) or simply the word of what you wish for.
Melt the wax with a candle or in a fire.

I LOVE these types of spells - so simple and adaptable
I tend to scratch it onto the candle itself then burn it down but this is so much better for poor old me - lol
thankyou for sharing :)

I'm happy that you liked it! I did one for a job in Yule, and *literally* 2 days later, I have a job!
I think it was more of calling the boss to me, like 'Hey, Sergey, I know your open. Now what about that job that you promised?'
I love this spell. I got it off of the Great Oak Pagan Podcast, on the Protection Magick segment.
I loved the Yule segment by him! He had a story of the Oak and Holly King, he was both Kings and his cousin or something *girl* played the Goddess. It was really awesome, and its the best Podcast that I have found.

Great spell, I will add it to my B.O.S.

So if I understood correctly, we spill the candle wax into a pan and then scratch the symbol, and then how we will burn it???? :(

I would use one of the small glass plats I have for my pillar candle to sit on so I don't have to worry about the base getting hot, then I'd pour hot wax on it, make it a circle, add the symbol and then hold the plate near enough the candle flame to melt it away. You could probably put it in a pan and then boil water in it.
This is what I am, here is where I remove my mask.

That's amazing! (:
It's a great spell. It just sends great vibes while casting it :D
& that sounds awesome! I don't think I'd be able to listen to in though because I have dial up : /

Also, for the spell I just dripped wax on a ceramic saucer plate & then got a tiny spatula and lifted it up. Then I carved in my intention and let the wax melt in a candle. :)

Thats basically what I do too. I love the simplicity of this spell. I thank Modred, where-ever he went, for making such a cool podcast.

Its quite unfortunate that you have dial-up. Sorry to hear that!

Haha yeah I'm pretty sure I'm like the last person on Earth with dial-up! haha
Oh well, at least I can get on the internet! (:
But, I really love the simplicity of this spell as well and yet it's also so amazing to be so simple.. If that makes since haha.
I actually did my intention for love, and while melting the circle of wax I was focusing on qualities in a guy I would like to have in my life. (:

Now I gotta try that!
My laptop died a few months ago from the same problem, except the computer was on.

Maybe the glass breaking symbolized the energy being sent forth? It seems like it was positive.
