If I have sold my soul to an entity, how would I go about getting it back?

Uhm. I'm not sure deals work in reverse like that, which is why I am always very careful about what I offer entities, and not offering open-ended deals. I suppose that your friend could challenge the entity to some sort of face-off, or offer to do some sort of task to win their soul back. Of course, they'd have to be very careful, because if they lost such a task, they don't really have anything left to give to the entity.

What sort of entity did he/she make this deal with? And what did he/she get out of it?

it is possible but im not sure how to get it back my friend has a daemon sharing his body. the daemon is the only thing keeping him alive though. the daemon is actually very nice well he seems very nice to me

so i got to thinking about this some more and realized, hey, i wonder what this friend promised this Lwa? That is, what is this Lwa's objective? And did they create an end date to the agreement, for instance, at the end of your friends current mission/dimensional learning stage or lifetime?

They are even unsure of how to precede. The oldest elder that I know says that there's no way to get it back.

Well I'm not familiar with Iwas but it seems if the Iwa was willing to make a deal once it might do it again. If your friend wants his soul back try striking another deal. Lotsa risks involved with that though.

Just curious, if your friend got what he wanted why is he trying to get his soul back? I can only guess that the loss of his soul has changed him a great deal. Is there another reason?

The Baron is very important. He is the only person who can let people pass into the realm of the dead. Now say I get sick right, you have so many other Lwa that can help you. You can go to any of the healers, but now if someone owns your soul, you can only go to him/her.

There's also another thing. Ever since the deal was made, he has a tendency to black out and wander off and not know what the hell he is doing. It's gotten to the point where he's afraid the Baron has something to do with it. I suspect so as well.

So hes worried that because the baron owns his soul he wont be able to get help from other Lwas should he need it or if the baron cant help him?

Has he tried asking the baron if hes behind the blackouts? If not Id suggest trying it. Might get some answers. As for preventing the blackouts, Id bet its pretty tough to shield yourself from someone who has your soul, but it might be possible. Try having him meditate with the focus on remembering what he does when he blacks out. If he can find out whats happening and why you might be able to counter it. If the baron is controlling him though his soul the only thing he has left is his mind. Try putting him in a circle and shield his mind.

Random thought, if you take away what the baron got out of the deal (your friends soul and controlling him) he might get vengeful. This is risky business.. tread lightly.
