I too considered doing this (leaving society and living in the mountains... I actually tried a couple weeks ago.
It's alot harder then I expected.
The mental struggle is the hardest part.
Sadly I didnt even make it a day
Anyway, monastic life accomplishes the same thing but within a structure and helpful guidence of those who have came before.
This is why I'm going to be visiting Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in late july... Here for more info:

This man ^ started the original monastery in thai land after leaving society and living in the forest... practicing meditation. I can only imagine how great the struggle was, but this is what I aspire to... well to ultimatly have no aspirations

p.s. I know it's offtopic, so to answer your question: simply sit down for meditation, then declare, "I invite the spirit of the wolf to join with me in spiritual union" or something to that effect. Realize that this spirit is great and may choose not to. You would have to purify yourself and rise to the great vibration to meet it. It will not stoop down to the level of a childish fool.
You may also choose to create a ritual. Start by casting a circle, invoking the 4 directions with candles, then offer incense, vegitarian foods, flowers, etc to try to apease the great spirit. This kind of ritual would make your request more powerful. End it with a long meditation by visualizing the wolf and going on a spiritual journey in your mind with it. See where it leads you.
