One HUGE mistake and its consequences

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice guys! It’s been really soothing reading your kind words Tylluan, Juniper and Barker! And Tylluan, CleverlyDisguised and SnowCat thank you very much for the spells as well as the advice! Both spells are very helpful! I will try to talk to him. He isn’t quite the believer but he does support me in everything I do. However, lately he’s taken into consideration that I might just be telling the truth and not the least bit crazy when it comes to everything that’s going on in our lives.
Also, Cleverly made a very interesting point which I didn’t see before but it’s incredibly true! - as I fail, my ex flourishes! As I fail professionally, he gets better, as I go down financially, he goes up and so on. That’s a very interesting fact that I would’ve never realized had you not drawn my attention to it, even though it was right under my nose. I’m not sure what to make of it. I’d say some kind karmic retribution? I guess the universe is compensating for what I’ve taken away from him when I made him give up that job. Or would you guys say I should interpret this as something else? Maybe the work of someone else or just my own work backfiring?
