Don't alwase assume what you see on that show is true, they have been wrong before and arn't infailable. Also they are under no obligation to do anything but make an entertaining show (and it is). Anyone with fincial backing can make a show that purports to tell the truth.THough i did watch a mythbuster episode where they were, testing to if it was actually true, and it turns out plants dont care what kind of music you play could be heavy metal, or classical they'll still grow at the same rate.

Talking to Plants?
talking to your plants
That is such a favorite of mine. I am always talking to my plants. I even had one of my friends ask me who are you talking to lol I told her my plants. They love it when I talk to them. And since this is such a common thing among people no one thinks you are crazy. It is good for them too. And most of the time they do grow better. For all the magical reasons you can think of and also even scientists have state that talking to an ill plant can help it. Remember they take in the CO2 during the day and let oxygen out at night or i might have it backwards. It has been a while since I studied photosynthesis.
My mother had a plant that I always talked to after reading on the subject. It always seemed the to be the happiest plant of them all. It grew faster, and stood over all the others.
I liked to meditate by it as well, as I grew a connection with it.
whether I programmed that connection myself or not is still up for grabs.

okay, now i don't feel so weird.
i've been talking to the birch trees in my back yard since i was 6 years old. i usually tell the trees my problems, or my secret wishes.
Sometimes i'll tie a ribbon around the bark or hang chimes, it makes me feel at ease. When i'm very upset, i usually watch the wind caress the leaves and branches and allow the air to dry my tears. alot of my meditation is done around the trees too. i guess it's become my sacred spot. most important desicions, i make there.
it's probably really creepy, but i've just grown a bond with my birch trees.

Do any of u have gardens or any good ideas to make a lovely witchey garden
Butterflies are the most free life on this planet and i aspire to be that free spirited. Love and Light to all.

I've never had the opportunity to grow plants of my own, but I know from articles I've read and such that plants do in fact respond to being spoken to. Plants breath carbon dioxide, which we exhale with every breath. Also, they produce the oxygen that we breath, so talking to them is good for us too!
I often used to confide in the big tree we had at my old house, simply because I could connect with it. I think everything on earth has a life force, and it's people like us that can really be part of that. Other than the physical things gained from talking to plants, it also gives the opportunity to open up to something (or someone) who listens without judging you, just like people who talk to their pets.

Hi people!
Thankyou for all your sugestions! I tried it and it really works, I had a plant that was dying and my mother was going to throw it away but i told her not to and I talked to it and helped it stand up straight with a stick, a month later and now it´s a really cute flower ready for the garden again.
PS: I read that the carbon dioxide that comes out when one talks helps the flowers, but I don´t know about the music.
