Re: Magic in every day life
I try to meditate at least once a day if I haven't got time to fully shield ground and center myself as well as open my chakras I just surround myself with white light. In addition I have recently started practong some qigong meditation techniques like the chi ball which is helpful for me doing basic energy work and learning to feel energy to direct it.

Re: Magic in every day life
In everyday life I find myself drawing in energy from above and below at least a couple times a day. At least once a day I'll check my shields which I just carry as a background thing. I try to meditate once or twice a day for at least a couple minutes but it can be difficult when you do 10hrs of labor a day Friday- Monday. And often I find myself drawing energy out to my fingertips and playing with it. Just sky writing like you might do with a sparkler. But honestly it's just me playing around to keep the skill honed.

Thank you that is very helpful, i definably could do with schedualing time on my days off and devoting myself more to my practices. i think it doesnt help that im just sort of a drift in the world of magic, dont have a real teacher or book of teachings to establish much, just tip bits from here and random google searches

Don't worry you aren't alone there. I'm still trying to find my way around as well. I never had a teacher, the closest thing has been the martial arts I learned that started me and the books I've found to read along the way.

Re: Magic in every day life
Always wanted to learn martial arts but never had the time or money for it. Hopefully I can dedicate the time to magic instead and get round to reading the few books I have.
