cream and honey seem to be popular but I'm vegan and would really prefer not to use animal products.
There is a relatively new product out called Bee Free Honey. It's made from apples. smiley_dance You can also find vegan cream in stores, I'm not sure where you're located but I hope this helps. Or you could mix a little bit of Vegan cane sugar with water and leave that. :D

I've often found that leaving a part of myself works pretty well. I've left little charms, tied to branches with a strand of my hair.

There is also things like agave nector. (I prefer it in place of honey in my tea.)
I offered them the candles, incense, and honey. (I poured the honey on the rocks.)
Nice, "sweetening" the land, very symbolic bet they loved it. Honey on the Rocks sounds the title of a poem or something, lol.

May we all work to, in our own ways, sweeten the land.

Thanks.

P.S. You live in the Yosemite area?! Wha'?! Lucky you!

Haha yeah it does and yeah, I do. It's nice because there's a lot of privacy up here to do whatever I need to do.

I don't think it's been mentioned but the fae particularly love emerald so you could leave some emerald out for them. Or any gemstone for that matter. Just nothing with iron.

I have a faery garden that I planted in a big pot out the back of my house. It's full of small colourful plants and gemstones. I also put out honey for them every other day.

The hardest part for me is setting out offerings. cream and honey seem to be popular but I'm vegan and would really prefer not to use animal products.
Do you have any "local" sweet things? Where I'm from there are a lot of places that make maple syrup, for example, so I find it to be a good substitute since it comes from the land here. Making offerings of local products can be a nice way to sort of give back to the local land, and honor where you live. Dates, berries, other sweet fruits all work. Almond milk is a good substitute for cream. I'm not vegan but I love almond milk, use that for offerings a lot since I might not always have regular milk in the house.

And it doesn't have to be honey and cream types of things, wine, juice, olive oil, tea, fruits, veggies, baked goods, grains, nuts, incense, those are all options, and there's many more. As was mentioned before, time offerings are also important, too. Just spending time outside meditating, praying to the spirits, thanking them, spending time cleaning the land, or caring for it in other ways, growing your own herbs and plants which can be then used, in part, for offerings.

The Kindly Ones near my old house loved fresh cookies and cornbread (after I let them out of the ring they had been trapped in... I had just moved in and this ring had been there for years, and it felt oppressive and trappish so I went and broke it up and as I moved the last stone forming the circle and felt the energy pop, I got this extreme pain on my left forearm and when I looked at it, there was a perfect set of teeth imprinted on it just slightly too small to have been a child... scariest experience with the Good Neighbours I’ve ever had)
