Meant to be?? You better believe it!
Jeez Jennifer Lopez marries anything as long as it looks like its got some money so she'll get a big pay out from the divorce and so she can get some media attention. Is it a lil obvious I dont like her? lol. Its so wierd but after seeing my parents divorce my views on marrige have changed. Its like everyone thought they were perfect for each other then suddenly one day my dad tells my mum to get out of his house. These days I half expect them to change the marrige vows to "till divorce do you part". If we do get married we've decided that it would be really low key:family, best friends and thats it. And just a little party afterwards.
see im the sorta person thats not into celebrities at all. I just look at all the girls that have eating disorders trying to be as skinny as the girls they see on tv. Its not just that either, theres loads of things i dint like about celebrities. I guess I shouldnt judge coz theyre in the spotlight all the time but I can be a bitch sometimes lol
I don't buy the tabloids, but I do watch some of those shows on TV about celebrities. I think Britney Spear's new reality show should be cool (I know that's stupid to say.) I'm sure I'll be watching it. I agree with you about the eating disorders. It's sad to see so many girls destroying their body because of the images they see in the media. Back in the old days, we had normal looking or ugly actors, like "Laverne and Shirley" and other shows. It wasn't like "Friends" where everyone is beautiful, thin, and perfect. I worry about the teenagers these days. It's upsetting to see so many of them going down the wrong path because of these influences.
I went through a whole phase like that, I did a lot of things that I wasn't proud of. Then one day I just looked in the mirror and asked "what the hell am I doing with my life?" I admitted to myself I had a problem and then spent a lot of time talking to my sister about it. I had no friends at all at my high school so I moved to a school where I had a couple of friends and even just having those few people to hang around with, people i saw every day who didnt judge me, helped me through everything. These days I just dont care what other people think. I dont do things just because other people want me to and I've learned to accept myself even if I'm not perfect.
But I'm off subject on the post....yday I had a really long talk wit my bf and it turned out I'd totally got things wrong about what he said about marriage. He's just not ready now (understandable) and in a few years when we've got decent jobs and our own house and stuff he deffo wants us to get married! yaay!

Most relationships do, but teenagers don't realize that yet because they haven't had as many. I hate to shatter their hopes and dreams though with my pessimistic attitute towards love, but I have to say I agree with you that relationships fall apart as easily as they come together, only it is usually slower and more agonizing when they are falling apart! lol
There comes a time when the dove must spread its wings and try them out in order to learn to fly. The most important thing you can do while experiencing this wonderful, high feeling is to keep your loved ones close to you, Shadowcat. Let them celebrate your happiness and share sadness if it comes to that.
I also had a comment on the zodiac compatability thing. I am a Capricorn with a Libra ascendant. Sometimes it feels like I am trying to mix oil and water (tee hee). I was married to a Capricorn and many years later to a Cancer. Both ended in divorce.
2 cappies, both eldest children and I am princess = power struggle. And Capricorns are SO STUBBORN. The older I get, the more I try to curb this tendency, but it is a native one, so it's difficult.
My Cancer guy was a recluse who just didn't want a family. I think he tried it so he could say he had. He just wanted to exist in a simple uncomplicated life. Anyway...that's my 2 cents.
Bright blessings,

Bright blessings,
The book that mentioned, "He's Just Not That Into You" is a good book to read. It really makes you think and makes you take responsibility for your part in a relationship. Best of all though, it will make you laugh even at yourself!
Guys can be jerks, and so can girls. If you choose to "waste the pretty on a jerk" this book helps open your eyes to your part in it so you can take your power back...or not.
