Discussion of Christianity and other religious systems. How can we explain our faith to Christians? How can you merge your faith in Jesus with your belief in the metaphysical?

well, since when i moved to Italy everybody here askes me questions about Jewdaism beacause most of people dont really know anything about the religion. and who is the best person to ask then a jewish israeli girl here in the forum that is not a religious fanatic?

there are a lot of spirituality in the jewish religion, even if you dont go to the Kabalaa.

the Tora is a beautiful life guide if you look at it that way.
and there are beautiful things that over the years i have learnd from it. things that are just "how to be a good human"

if you have any quastions, doubts, anything... you are welcome to ask.

here's a little story to begin with:
an unbeliever came once to the rabbi Shamai and asked him
Teach me the Torah while I stand on one foot."
Rabbi Shamai, that spent all his life learning the Tora told him this was impossible.
so the man went to Rabbi Hillel and asked the same thing.
Hillel smiled ""You want to learn a great deal quickly, don't you? Very well, I shall teach you the Torah while you stand on one foot. This is our Holy Torah: 'What is hateful to you, do not do unto others. All the rest is only an explanation of that"

the first law i studied in my life. it is still my highest law in life.
