I did a reading on my ex (or whatever he is) he had 5 major arcana cards in a celtic cross reading. Temperance, Death, Judgement, High Priestess and Emporer. If I understand correctly this means that what is happening in his life is a fate or destiny thing. Does anyone feel like telling me their interpretation of these cards. I worry that my judgement will be clouded since I'm so close to the situation.

Can you post all the cards and their position from that spread for me? The overall meaning will lean one way or another based upon the positioning of the cards in the lay out. (And what was the particular query involved with the reading as well).
If so, I'll offer my interp on them as well. -Though I'd have to add that nothing in tarot is "fated" ... it is only an indication of where the current path will lead the person- even where there are karmic influences at play, there is always a way to heal the influence and correct the imbalance. That's the purpose of tarot and divination in general, I believe.
All that said though, you said this is for your ex? Is this reading for your benefit or he requested you read for him? In all honesty, if it's a situation of your needing some closure and to heal after a break-up, tarot is probably not the best way to go about that. If you two are still friends though, and this is a mutually desired reading, that's different.
Anyhow, I'll help if I can-- but if it is a break-up situation, you may want to give the entire thing a second thought.

Hi Moonstone,
Thank you for your offer. I was getting ready to file final papers and divorce was to be set for July 8. He asked me not to finish filing and said he is indecisive about this. When I layed the cards out I was asking what lay ahead for us. And a question on my mind was where does he stand in our relationship. A little background for you. He had head injury some years back and is now dealing with alcohol addiction wich further affects his brain and mental state. I have made it clear to him that if we are to continue a relationship the substance abuse is not something I can live with. Been there done that with dad and won't do it again. The only cards that I can remember in celctic cross spread was Temperance in the 3rd position, Death in the 7th position, Judgement in the 8th position, High Priestess in the 9th position and the Emporer in the 10th position. Just had a memory, 2 of cups in the 6th position and Queen of swords in 1st position. Sorry that I can't remeber the other cards and hope this gives you enough info.
