I went to religious school growing up... once, in 11th grade, the vice principal called a kid down for asking "why". He told us to never ask "why"... that to do so was rebellious in the eyes of god.

I thought about that at the time... and my conclusion was, if someone - or some thing - cannot bear honest inquiry, then it probably hides from questions for a good reason.

No one can prove whether Hell exists or not.
Though most of the religions, belief systems and philosophical organizations do not believe Hell to be contained within the Earth.

It really boils down to what one chooses to believe in, Hallow Him. While it's a good idea to not believe 100% of anything you hear, the same has to be said for the recording itself. I can conceivably create a computerized sound file of my toilet flushing and proclaim it's the sound of a massive whale-hysteria that took place somewhere under the Bermuda Triangle-- but that most certainly doesn't mean that's what it is.

Bottom line, if you believe that's the sounds of hell, then it is; for you. If you believe music being played backwards is the spoken message meant to deliver messages to the demons from satan, then that's true too (for the believer.) I can find experts to back up anything I want to have backed up as "fact" -again, that's certainly not implying that there really is any true fact there. There is honestly nothing that can prove or disprove a person's perceived truth, especially religiously speaking-- but do, in life, religion and everything you ever do-- question things.

HallowHim, I was most definitely not trying to be offensive at all- I'm sorry you feel that way. I do need to use more caution with my choice of the word 'you' --I mean the collective "you" (as in 'everyone') -but sometimes it is taken wrong. I was not implying my "you" to mean you, HallowHim ... just "you, all of you, everyone".

What I was trying to convey is that if someone believes it is true, then it IS true; for them. If they believe it's not true, then it isn't. It's all a matter of personal interpretation, there's no way to definitively "prove" this sort of thing either way. I do understand how strong a person's beliefs are to them as individuals, so if someone does choose to believe that recording is what it claims to be, then it is-- for the believer.

I was definitely not trying to imply that what you believe is wrong or that even the people who believe 100% in that recording (or the backwards music being messages from satan as I mentioned too)- are wrong in any way, I was just trying to simply state two points: #1, question everything. Always question. It's what sets us apart from the animal kingdom, our ability to think and reason. --and #2, the truth or validity of that recording or ANY religious belief, is held within the believer, solely. It is our believing that makes something true- whether it's a belief in Buddha, Jesus, Gaia or whatever. Without the followers, a religion or belief -in and of itself,- is nothing.

I must say I agree entirely with MoonStone. I think that this is the best way too explain it, however, I will Simplify it:

If you Believe in something it's true.

If another person Believes in something else, that is true.

If A person doesn't believe in that particular thing, it's true FOR THEM.

And so on.


What ever you believe is true in your eyes. What ever someone else Believes is true in their eyes. My Opinion:

EVERY RELIGION IS TRUE. There are so Many gods and Goddesses out there, and so many people are Worshiping them as we speak. It is your choice as to what one(s) You choose to Worship, however.

I'd be glad to Explain my Gods. And too explain why I had posted that. You see, I am a Wiccan. Here is some information:

We, as a whole, believe everyone to be Equal. And thus, There are a lot of Wiccan-Pagans, Christian-Wiccans, and so on. We are Flexible enough too be able to worship many diverse gods at once. We have no 'Fixed' God or Goddess that we MUST worship. It is a matter of Self exploration and spiritual Journeys.


I Worship the Mother Goddess and the Horned God. The Mother Goddess is all round us, for she is All that the Earth and Land is. She lives Within every being, she is what people call 'Mother Nature'. The Horned God is known as the God of 'Fertility' or the God of the 'Hunt'. He is the Gof of the Forest. He Impregnates the Mother Goddess, then Perishes, and is Re-Born from the Mother's Womb. He is Also all around us.

They are Within the Universe, all around us. They are the Energy that flows.

HOWEVER, in our Religion, you may choose to worship whom ever you please. So, I'm not Preaching my Religion on you. In fact, you can go ahead and dismiss this with your own beliefs. That is who we are, flexible and all are Equal.

I can tell you that every time I read a post by you, everything seems to boil down to: "I say this because I am Muslim, and everyone who disagrees with me must disagree because they hate Muslims." I hate to break it to you, but not everything is about you and your religion. Sometimes, people disagree with you only because they don't see eye-to-eye with you. Please stop taking it as personal attacks.

And, to make something clear, I would still be saying this to you if you were Wiccan or Christian and writing the same posts with the word "Wiccan" every place you write "Muslim". I am not trying to attack you, just to point out that you need to let some things go. And please stop attacking the people who have been here a long time (especially moderators).
