Ooooh... Menudo... *dies*

That's one of those things that is either made really really well or really really badly. Luna- who in your family makes the menudo? I'd love a good recipe.

Tripe and menudo are recipes to travel for, if you know someone who makes it well. I know, I keep meaning to head back down to Cali and hit up the little old Italian ladies where I used to live for -their- recipes.

This is paring down my list of things to hit up old ladies for- it turns out my sister has a good recipe for soupis, sans soggy bread.

Yeah, I am just going to go with the majority with the water. I think the rule is before and while you are drinking, two glasses of water per alchoholic beverage.

almost everybody in my family does . duuhh mexicans . but my whole family knows that my mom is the one that does it better. just don't make her mad meanwhile she is making it or she will make it real spicy. (like we care  we will still eat it :D ) whenever she makes it she does a biiiiigggg pot that can serve my whole family of 5 including my aunt and her family of 5 and my outher aunt and her husband and my grandma andgrand pa. and still have some left for the next day. so she does a lot. had you seen the tamales pot but the big one. something like that big she does . if you want to next time that she does it i will be writing down everything that you need to make it but i will have to wait until she does menudo again because my family almost never use recipes we go by instinc

That would be great, if you don't mind. And I know how it goes- I cook that way myself.

You'll have my blessings a thousand times over if I can get a good menudo recipe, though!

And a million cyberhugs!
