I like the one that says "don't hit anyone with a broom............"
Of course not, a lump of 4 by 2 is much more effective

Good reading and good fun, thanks for posting.

They're sure funny, but I always end up thinking too hard about my actions and 'knocking on wood' after discussing or learning superstitions :) I don't like to think of myself as superstitious, but I am.

well if you think about even the little omens people interpret without realising makes them somewhat superstitions.

HaHa, knocking on wood, that's another one that's rubbed off from my mum, I'm forever doing it

Me too - and saluting magpies. I've had some funny looks while walking down a street saying 'Good morning Mr Magpie'

Saluting magpies, never heard of that one. We're usually too busy looking for ways to assassinate them!

I don't walk under ladders... but that's a safety thing. I've had stuff dropped on my head before!

ah 'Three for a girl, four for a boy'.
That one?

I've only ever seen it in the 'The Crow' original comic. I didn't understand it's origin or anything, but it worked nonetheless.
