i really want to learn about reiki but cant find anywhere to learn here. i have done a few crystal healing spells for my friends and my boyfriend. he has a terrible tooth ache. i stopped the pain for a while but i cant mystically take the root out so i have told he must get it sorted soon or the pain will come back.

I learned that Reiki masters have a tendency to pour so much energy into their patients that they block their own energy zones, in particular the kundalini, or root chakra. This is going to sound crude, but when they don't allow their own energy to flow properly they become 'unf***ed' because they aren't healthy there anymore.
Giving energy to a patient should be a very last resort if you have any experience. At least with qi-gong, a more experienced healer will seek out energy blockages and gently coax the qi/chi into a heathly flow with as little interference as possible (this can even mean doing nothing at all). Rare exceptions to this rule are when disease is completely overwhelming or the patient's organs have suffered major trauma. Even so, I'm not even convinced it's wise to do this, but sometimes it's virtually unavoidable.
In my own experience, it isn't a loss of energy which causes a healer to become sick or ill themselves, it's the tendancy for the energy flows of the healer to become like the patient's as the healer does their manipulations. This effect is more greatly pronounced when the healer has less experience and 'does more than necessary'.
I've never experienced any sexual dysfunction, either physical or emotional, due to healing work. In my humble opinion, if someone is experiencing this kind of symptom it's a sign that they using 'brute force' in their healing effort and should seek to do less. This is neither good for the patient nor the healer. It could also be because they are neglecting to restore their own flow after healing with an appropriate ritual/meditation.
Although my tradition is different from Reiki, I can't imagine how the principles would be too different. I suspect that there are some 'Reiki Masters' who've taken a two week crash course and don't have much actual experience. This is sad because it devalues that particular healing tradition.
