potions BOOKS
Hi there,can someone give me some dirction to how i can find real magick spell book,potion books or similiar im sick of the airy fairy stuff and i dont want love potions is there some real stuff out there?

Your lucky! My library has absolutely nothing in this area. You should have seen the looks I got when I inquired at the main desk about said material <giggles>I'd look them up online then go to your local library and inter-library loan them. That's what I did, found some pretty good ones too.

all of my potions were made from scratch. I have Scott Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs. I just looked up their properties and made sure they met my needs and made a potion from that. It takes a few hours cuz I'm picky on how I make them but they usually always work.
I have never been able to find a book on potions that I feel right getting. I just recomend making your own.. they come out best that way, plus you have some pride with it.

Take a look at the "learning tools" section... lots of good advise and info...I have done lots of research and I keep comming back to the same thing. It is all about what feels right for. Start with the end result in mind and then think about how you want to get there. As you read and research you will start to see a pattern to both the spells and retuals. Keep us posted on your progress.
