Familiars and Weird Visions

This is a twofold question.

1. So I've been meditating to try and find a familiar but every time I do, a spirit guide in the shape of a stag leads me to a field with long grass where my girlfriend (who is glowing) awaits. When I ask why I have been lead there, the stag simply goes up to my girlfriend and nuzzles her. What could this mean?

2. That being said, I would really like to find an actual familiar. Does anyone have any tips?

Stag is like a deer, right? Well what the deer represents? Grace, beauty, innocence. ... maybe also king of the forest?
There was a Japanese psychology test suggesting that with whoever you see yourself in a forest would be the most intimate to you,

The spirit guide would encourage you to take care of her and maybe drag her down to you on Earth? Maybe you found something more precious than a familiar, you are fortunate : )

Also, maybe familiar of a stag wouldn't want to hang around too much, just came to convey an important message, and then went away. That would kind of serve the purpose of being a familiar, wouldn't it?

Ive never found familiars. They have always found me. It was just something i....knew. I looked at my familiars and i just....felt that we were connected.
