Honestly, I have been a bit afraid during this new beginning, though I'm starting to relax with it more. A few odd things have happened, things I can't even really explain to myself yet, and there has been an increase in my clairvoyant experiences. Maybe it has nothing to do with taking this new path, but I'm still a bit nervous. I'm trying to take it slow and easy right now & do as much research as I can.

I am taking it slow and doing as much research as I can as well. I think this is the best way - |For me anyway.

Yes, I agree that's wise. Best to figure out what everything means before acting on unknown concepts, I'd say.

I think I was not necessarily scared but a little anxious.

Everyone's journey is different and it's OK to feel the way you're feeling! :)

I think I mis-represented my recollection of my earliest steps along the path in my former comment because I came into the Craft in my mid-30's & had already dealt with misgivings. But I could tell some funny stories re: our college dorm psi study group ... Earnestly working the ouija board when the wall intercom buzzed. We bolted from the room, colliding in the door like stooges. As if the hallway was safe?! Now that was a bunch of scaredy cat's. Weeks later my grandpa came over the board & his facial features were superimposed on the face of one of the planchette movers for us all to see. The moment I'd recognized him I bolted from the room. Well, dang. That one hit home. This was not a good pattern for a budding medium (but that was 2 years in the future.) Sometimes the emotions we hold don't make sense, but, well there they are. I faced down my own fantastic imaginings & pulled the energy out of artificial programming; in the moment I returned to the room & grandpa, that's when I stopped being scared, but respectful. And i think that's when I started really investigating out of love for the issues & not curiosity. So maybe love for what one is doing overcomes in-grained fears. But not wanting to get all soppy IMO you either love the Craft or ya' don't, but it takes a while to realize it.
