GenevieveDawn says it all! Pop-culture often likes to glamourize witchcraft for people to think it is something that it isn't. I remember when I first started becoming interested in witchcraft the movies 'The Craft' and 'Practical Magic' were coming out. As sad as it sounds, I kind of looked at witchcraft because I was wondering if there was a way you could get results like you saw in the movies.

But I learned that it is so much more and that hollywood fed me a line of BS. Am I disappointed with how it really is in witchcraft? No! In fact I find it fascinating still and wish that I had friends or family who were involved with it as well. But I am alone since my family is mostly roman catholic and methodist. I've kind of hidden the fact that I interested in this path. I still don't understand all about witchcraft, but that is why I came here. To learn and be guided, and be surrounded by people who are interested in the same path as myself.
