Book Recommendations?
I am a baby witch and new to wicca. I am a norse wiccan. Does anyone know of some good books that will help me learn on my own? The only support I have on this path is my husband who is also a baby witch and new to wicca as well.

Re: Book Recommendations?
Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft has Norse gods in it and is Wiccan. (Seax Wicca) I would likewise recommend Scott Cunningham's Solitary and Living Wicca books. Anything by Valiente is great, if you can find it.
I am the Earth, The Sun and the Stars
And I am the also the Moon
I am all animal and birds,
And I am the outcast as well, and the thief
I am the low person of dreadful deeds,
And the great person of excellent deeds
I am Female. I am Male and I am Neuter. - Devi

Thank you, I will look for them now.

Hi!
I recommend the Prose and/or Poetic Edda. It is a pretty foundational Norse text.
Also, any book on Runes and this website: https://norse-mythology.org
Don’t worry so much about the Gods in the beginning, pay more attention to the philosophy and worldview of the North

Re: Book Recommendations?
I have the Edda on my tablet but I need to buy in book form. Plus the ones I have is hard to understand.

Treading the Mill: Workings in Traditional Witchcraft
by Nigel G Pearson (Author)
Great starter to grass root Traditional Witchcraft(not Gardnerian Wicca) and one of the only "How to" books I know of if you have any interest in reconstructed WC vs Gardnerian ritual style.
Browse reviews but Don't purchase new off Amazon. Their current Aug 2018 prices go waaay too high whenever the book needs reprinting. Either wait for the next reprint or order it thru local bookstore. It shouldn't cost more than $15-18 plus S/H but is at $54 @ Amazon due to short supply &'high demand. Watch Amazon for used copies. It used to sell direct from Caapal Ban publishers for $9 then reprinted & new cover & updated sold at a reasonable $15.

I will call the vintage book store here in my town to see if they have it.
