My Self-Dedication Ceremony

I went to a state park to do a self-dedication ceremony and celebrate Mabon. When I got to the spot I was going to use, no one was there. As I was taking my stuff out of the car, 2 people arrived and left and then another couple came. This continued until 730pm and there was no one in sight.

So I set up my circle. I had written up what I was going to do and say. I put them in sheet protectors. About halfway through I started hearing thunder and that is when I realized I had put two pages backwards. I had skipped over calling to the elements. I fixed it quickly and had no more thunder. As I was finishing, the sun had set. I left food for the animals and started cleaning up.

As I was leaving, I felt this happiness overcome me. I have never felt so happy in years and years. I could feel energy swirling in my chest. I was driving at this point and I let the energy build up too much. That night I could not sleep. I had too much energy. The next day I woke up early and had the most energy I have had in years. It was a great feeling.

Dedications are special, aren't they !?!
When I recently did a dedication to Hekate and Lilith
I felt one of those whooshes of energy right into my
chest/heart energizing me.
I hope you wrote down your experience in your
Book of Mirrors ? When read later, say a year, that
feeling can come slightly back to relive that time.
