I have a hard time finding different gems and crystals for rituals. Where would you recommend I find any?
On a different topic, though, I've been meaning to come forward to my significant other about my religion, but I'm scared they won't accept me or their parents won't. Do you have any advice for coming forward to people about Wicca and Witchcraft?

For the crystals try sites like amazon and etsy.
On the telling people about your religion I treated it the same as when I came out as gay I told who I felt needed to know and everyone else got told if they asked. I also proudly wear my pentacle. If your partner really loves you they should accept you for who you are.

Re: Rituals and acceptance
I say this respectfully, WhatAreFrogs:
I would not make someone my significant other until and unless I was
totally honest and upfront about who I was in the first place.
For me to do so would be greatly disrespecting them, as well myself.
Further, I would let them know I would not hold back on who I was to
their family, and/or friends, and I would not expect them to do that
for me, or my family or friends.
To do less than this, would be backing off from awareness, which is never
a good thing, in my opinion.
As far as being scared, what I teach my students and live by is simple yet strong:
Fear Is The Mind Killer
Guilt Is The Heart Killer
Sin Is The Groin Killer
Therefore I Do Not Know Sin, Guilt, And Fear
Now, as far as gems and crystals, Newbie Witch suggested one
avenue of approach. Another would be Pagan Fairs, or Renn Faires
in your area. Check Witchvox for listings in your area.

I've gone to etsy for crystals in the past and have been pretty satisfied with it.

Whatarefrogs,
I'm curious...how long have you been together ?
What started you thinking now to let them in
on your secret ?
Do you feel its necessary to tell anyone besides
your other half right now ? Don't you think you
should wait before you tell the others ?
What are their beliefs ? Very religious, not much ?

Rock and mineral shows can be good sources for crystals. The vendors usually know a bit about what they're selling, although they may not know as much about the metaphysical aspects. I don't have any words of wisdom to offer on coming out. I have always been very upfront about my path.
