A Dream (Or Nightmare?) That Came True

Postby unamago8 » Fri May 26, 2017 4:47 am

(Forgive my English because I'm not a native English speaker  )

I am interested in witchcraft, but I confess that I am not a very spiritual person, and spirituality is very important in choosing our path. You can say that I'm a lost sheep.

Anyhow, I believe that my most spiritual encounter so far happened last year, in a dream. I never had a dream so clear and vivid like that, so I could easily remember the things that happened right there. To cut the story short, there was this woman with a white veil covering her face. We were in this garden with healthy green plants, but the surrounding was too bright and fuzzy, it felt like there was a thick fog. The woman told me that one of my family members was about to die soon. I remember myself crying so hard upon hearing it, and I begged her while kneeling down to take back what she said. I don't know the exact words, but the woman told me that there is nothing she can do, and all we can do is accept what is bound to happen.

Afterwards, I woke up with my eyes and cheeks all wet. I was very glad that it was all just a dream, though I must say that I felt really exhausted that morning I woke up, and I had goosebumps all over. I decided not to talk to anyone about that dream because I thought it was not important (because it was "just a dream") and it would only freak them out. Unfortunately, that dream (or nightmare) would come true a few days after. My father would then be diagnosed with liver cancer, and the doctor said that he only had six months to live. He passed away last December.

Some might argue that it was just a coincidence, but to me it is a little too much of a coincidence. I know there is a lot more behind that dream, as if it was the universe telling me of a bad event in advance. Ever since that dream happened, it felt like my senses were "heightened." Not in a way that I can smell scent or see things miles away a la X-Men. For example, I feel restless with chills coming down my spine before a bad thing arrives. In one case, last month, I felt restless and drowsy all morning, I was expecting something bad would strike anytime. Then in the evening, a pretty strong earthquake struck our town.

Do you think these are all coincidences, or are there really unseen forces in the physical world that are trying to send me a message?

Hi there :flyingwitch: and welcome to the forum.
I would think that you are a sensitive person and yes you are tapping into the unseen forces. Very sorry about your dad, that must have been hard. Have you thought about keeping a journal to keep record of the details and they ways you were feeling leading up to these events? You may be able to track a pattern that would help you to know which things will come to pass and which ones may not.
Next time you check in could you swing by the intro section and let us know a little bit about yourself? Thanks :fairy:

Thanks, FIrebird! I just made a quite lengthy intro about myself in the intro section.

Sometimes I thought about writing down"suspicious" details on a journal, but the problem is I can't tell whether one thing is important or just a mere coincidence. I never wanted to have premonitions or visions when I chose this path. I just want to know a few spells that could help me in everyday life, plus spells that will make me feel connected with nature. :) Personally, divination or anything related to that scares me.
