Question about Home Protection Grid

I am considering using a home protection crystal grid within my apartment, and have done some research. I chose selenite and black tourmaline to use for this purpose. The issue I have run into is this: I only went and got 2 pieces of each, and from what I've seen, I need 4 of each, one piece of selenite and one piece of black tourmaline for each corner of the apartment! So my question is whether I am able to create a grid by using just opposite corners of the apartment? Seems more like a line than a grid if I do it that way. Has anyone ever tried this, and if so, how well did it work? I'm considering just getting 2 more pieces of selenite and 2 more pieces of black tourmaline, but it isn't exactly inexpensive and I don't know that I can afford it any time soon. Suggestions as to what else I can try are welcome!

I use a rough selenite upright tower, and a small black tourmaline pyramid. I set them on either side of a clear quartz chunk to amplify their properties. It's not a grid, but a clump, & feels good to me. So, maybe to complete the grid you have in mind you could substitute clear quartz for the missing pieces and still fill all the corners.

That's not a bad idea, SpiritTalker. I would still have to go out and get the clear quartz though... Ah well

That's true, but brainstorm and think of some cleansing options. Cleansing and shielding are the basis of protection. So-o, consider putting dishes of salt in corners. Plain old peppercorns disperse negativity too. Salt and pepper are like selenite and tourmaline.

Then too, consider herbal uses as well. Distributing bowls of assorted herbs ... Even an onion or bowl of vinegar will absorb negativity, as will a lemon...and it smells better. They can't be reused for anything. A simple glass of water can serve as a barrier and be changed daily. Just remember to charge whatever you choose with the intent you want it to serve.

If you are going to use salt, use sea salt, not table salt.

If you can afford a spool of thin copper wire you could build a grid under a carpet, and connect the four crystals in four corners of room. Oppose corners and crystals, as in forming an X with selenite to selenite, tourmaline to tourmaline. Copper is excellent for this purpose.

I play with the idea from time to time, of wrapping copper wire around an umbrella frame, gluing on crystals etc., to have a portable "zone" to sit under. Remember the craze some years ago of meditation pyramids made of copper tubing?

I had a 15 minute , mind blowing , crown chakra opening, body shaking, kundalini current experience under a six foot tall copper pyramid, with crystals, in 1977/78, near Sedona, Arizona. So intense I chipped a tooth, shattered a large amethyst crystal, and saw the umbrella of liquid crystal above the crown, typically called the "clear light." My friends were part of the group, distributing the pyramids. Yeah, I remember those pyramids. Perfectly keyed to the geometry of the Giza pyramid.
