Dimensions/death/spiritualism

Postby Ashrend » Fri Apr 28, 2017 1:39 am

Its occured to me to ponder on how magic fits in with scientific theory of infinite dimensions. Im curious as to what you think. Do you think after death we simply move to a different dimension and start life again? The gods and spirits we work with, do they exsist on an unobservable plane of exsistence within our dimension or are we communing with a different dimension? Does this mean that anything we have observed from spirit animals to gods have free will to travel between dimensions?

I love your questions, BH.

I imagine the physical realm or dimension to have multiple layers, and not all are the same density, so some things are invisible to the naked eye, but not to the 3rd eye. Take the aura as an example. There's the physical body with it's chakras, to which are attached the mental and emotional bodies, and astral. I tend to think the chakras hold the physical body in place, and maybe time. (?) These different energy-bodies are less dense, but still physical manifestations.

I've occasionally produced a sticky, white vapor off my hands that I can't feel or smell, but can see, and which spirits are said to use to become visible. The old term for it was ectoplasm or bioplasm. The spirit-body is within the physical realm, as I think of it. I see and hear dead people with my physical body's senses, as well as with psychic senses. Psychic senses are still within the physical dimension.

It's been suggested that all our lifetimes occur simultaneously in time, and we only perceive them sequentially because we are IN the physical 3D when we are thinking about them, or recalling past or future lifetimes. So time is a dimension that makes the difference in perception. And my thinking gets pretty wonky beyond that.

I've had a couple experiences of being in two present-day places at one time. Or I could say I remember two different events in the same time frame. How? Gad zooks, it's spooks. Is it multiple dimensions? I'm darned if I can explain it.

I've seen the parallel tracks of footsteps bending the grass when I couldn't see what was making the tracks, as if someone was walking right beside me.

Other dimensions supposedly intersect this one and have their own laws or dynamics. Some ETs are said to be from other dimensions, but not all by any means. It's not either/or. I think it's all the possibilities you named, simultaneously.

I don't work with god-forms, so have not had any experience on which to form a personal opinion. I have experienced an all-surrounding Presence when in prayer. It seems to be within my consciousness, not within the physical touchy-feely realm; and consciousness may be what distinguishes dimensions. ?? (shrug) My mind isn't stretching to that yet. Sometimes, almost, a different way of knowing is like a scent on the breeze. So I think that if I can grow the neural pathways for that perception, (practice, practice) then more would open up.

I'm conscious of being a biological unit which is a temporary state. That consciousness that inhabits the body knows more than it's telling.
