Asking again as I didn't phrase it right last time. I wanted to know if your astral projection body will be the same as your real life body or of it can be different either from being able to change its appearance or simple being something else entirely.

It takes practice, but you can change it.

It depends on how you do the astral projection. If you do it consciously, best option is to have your own body as an astral body as well. If you do it within a dream, you can be everything your mind can come up with.
For example, if I do astral projection with healing purposes, I have my own body, because it's easier to concentrate on it. In my dreams, I am either a wolf or oscillate between a male and anot older human version of myself.
