The Bible Thumpers in my experience fear magic, and have been engrained with the fear. I've often thought that it is somewhat reasonable, like fearing a gun. The gun can do nothing itself until it is loaded and in the hands of the user. It's then either the lack of training or the skilled intent of the handler that is dangerous. I think humans have an innate and natural predisposition for magic. It is part of who we are as a species. It is a function of thought. Fearing it doesn't teach us how to handle our nature, fear is denial. I like to remind the Thumpers that man was instructed not just to go forth and multiply, but also to subdue nature, including his own. So, to me, it is a responsibility of thinking people to properly train ourselves in safe conduct, and beneficial uses of our innate magical ability. To be honest, I'm still confused about all this info! Why shouldn't we practice magic if it is done with good intentions?
Hey, it sounds positive and you won't know until you give it a try. You could additionally charm a favorite pendant with the message. I used to keep a framed photo of my dog on my desk. Folks thought I loved my dog, which I did of course, but it reminded me to wag and be happy. Dogs have great attitudes.Maybe I'll create a simple ritual when I come to work and then have something to remind me about my dedication throughout the day? Do you think it would work?
You could try to listen to music for like 10-20 minutes before going to sleep. It helps you focus your thoughts and make meditation easier. You could meditate while listening to pagans chants. It works like a charm for meI try to practice daily but I find it difficult to get a routine to stick at times due to my ADHD/depression anxiety and my busy social life .
